SENIOR ASSISTANT DIRECTOR, LAND ADMINISTRATION, SIX (6) POSTS - V/NO. 115/2016
Duties and Responsibilities.
An officer at this level will be responsible to the Deputy Director, Land Administration. Specific duties and responsibilities include:
(i) receiving and processing recommendations on all land administration transactions;
(ii) processing title documents, applications relating to subdivisions, amalgamation and change/extension of user;
(iii) processing of consents for various transactions of lease hold land;
(iv) handling of enquiries from members of the public and offering solutions; and
(v) verification and authentication of land documents.
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:
(i) at least twelve (12) years cumulative service, three (3) of which should have been at the grade of Principal Land Administration Officer, Job Group ‘N’ and above;
(ii) a Bachelors Degree in Land Economics, Estate Management or equivalent qualification from a university recognized in Kenya;
(iii) attended strategic leadership course from a recognized institution; and
(iv) shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
Note: Possession of a relevant Masters degree from a university recognized in Kenya is an added advantage
